Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Julie joined Kumar Orthodontics in 1996, immediately after graduating from Ross Medical. In addition to assisting with patient care, she also ensures our office is compliant with sterilization requirements, completes lab work, and keeps our computer records organized and efficient. Julie’s favorite aspect of her job is working hands-on with our patients and making them as comfortable as possible. An animal lover, Julie enjoys spending time with her kitten, newly adopted from the Michigan Humane Society.

Amy has spent the past 20 years in the dental field; the past ten of those years have been spent in our office. She works alongside Dr. Kumar with patient care and takes impressions and X-rays during our new patient appointments. With her excellent experience, Amy easily builds trusting relationships with patients while she watches as their smiles and confidence transform throughout treatment. When she’s not in the office, Amy loves boating, traveling, and spending time with her great friends and family.
